uncle-sam-wants-join-army parody This image is from Image generator, interesting web 2.0 tool, a bit hard to ge through, by the time a found something simple, I had nearly 12 pages open and well...fun if you have nothing better to do than play on the computer for HOURS. I would this very little in a classroom, there is way too much distraction within all the different flying pages and adds. But still fun!

Reflections about Task # 7 and 8 (Lets back up and talk about Flickr)

In Task 7 - The website and web application usage of Flickr, enabled this blogger to connect a photo, paste it into this blog and reflection on this photo. The most important issue with adding photo to a blog is giving credit where credit is do. Truly, unless you have taken the photo always add the following: Image Courtesy of...
Using Flickr is a great classroom tool that can allow students to explore photos as well upload their own. This is great for allowing student to work in group such as class projects.
Secondly, exploring something like "Mashups", where two different components of two different websites come together to produce something like photos from Flickr to to spell out words...is a great creative tool for student to explore. A teacher can add elements of artistic value to his/her lessons, they can even enable the use of technology and aspects of photo enhancements to projects for higher and lower learns. The benefits are vast and numerous, the creative motivation is endless. A tool to remember to use in enhancing lessons...the internet a great instrument of learning!
